Gold Mario is a golden version of Metal Mario. To unlock this hidden skin, you must win all trophies in the Grand Prix at the 200cc race. You will have to get a gold trophy in every race; you don’t have to take first place.

However, this is challenging because the game will be at its extreme difficulty and fastest racing speed. If you get to complete the challenge, Gold Mario will appear in the character selection in replacement for Metal Mario.
