How to unlock Gold Mario
Gold Mario is a golden version of Metal Mario. To unlock this hidden skin, you must win all trophies in the Grand Prix at the 200cc race. You will have to get a gold trophy in every race; you don’t have to take first place.
However, this is challenging because the game will be at its extreme difficulty and fastest racing speed. If you get to complete the challenge, Gold Mario will appear in the character selection in replacement for Metal Mario.
How to unlock Gold karts
Gold Mario isn’t the only golden thing you can get in Mario Kart. Gold Standard Kart is unlockable through achieving at least one gold star in every mirrored track at 150cc races. To earn a star, you will have to score 55 points or more in each of the four tracks.
This means you will have to come first in three out of four races while making sure you take at least third place in the final race.
How to unlock Gold Tires
You will have to win against every Staff Ghost in Time Trial mode, and you will have to do it at 150cc. Otherwise, you won’t be able to unlock the Gold Tires. The Staff Ghost are quite competitive racers; you will have to be more focused as you play against them.
